Here in Australia we are just coming out of Winter. During Winter it can be hard at times to be a Raw Vegan. I discovered warm soups this Winter and thought I should share some of the soup recipes as the Northern hemisphere is about to go into Winter. So now might be the time for many to enjoy the comfort of warm soups #rawveganrecipe.
The following soups are classified as raw vegan as they are not heated above 40'c and all made from whole plant ingredients. This means the enzymes the body needs for digestion, the nutrients and the life force are still in the food.
In the following recipes I have used a Vitamix blender to blend each soup for approx. 3 min or until warm. You can use other high speed blenders as these should have a high speed motor in them, which should heat the food as you blend. All soups should feel warm to to touch and comforting to eat (not hot!). I will move these recipes and many more into the Roar Recipe database for easy access.
