Embracing Greens After a Juice Feast: A Journey to Balance, Well-being, and Dental Health



I recently embarked on a long juice feast, immersing myself in a regimen of nourishing juices to heal my body from shingles complications (video up on YouTube). As I transitioned back to solid foods, I made a surprising discovery - my body now craves greens like never before.


Throughout my juice cleanse, I consumed an abundance of nutrient-rich green juices, and it seems that my taste buds and body have developed a newfound appreciation for these verdant wonders. The vibrant hues and earthy flavours of kale, spinach, and arugula now hold a special place in my diet, providing me with essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that leave me feeling energised and revitalised.


One interesting shift I've observed is my inclination to pair green foods with sweet fruits. This harmonious combination not only tantalises my taste buds but also offers a myriad of health benefits. Incorporating greens alongside sweet fruits helps to balance my blood sugar levels, preventing spikes and crashes that often accompany consuming sugary foods alone. Moreover, the fiber content in leafy greens aids in digestion and slows down the absorption of sugars, leading to sustained energy levels and reduced cravings.


What's more, this newfound dietary habit has had unexpected benefits for my dental health. Prior to incorporating more greens into my diet, I was struggling with yellowing teeth and dental pain. However, since adding greens to my fruit consumption, I have noticed a remarkable improvement in the health of my teeth. The nutrient-rich greens, with their abundance of vitamins and minerals, have not only helped to alleviate the pain but have also contributed to the overall health and whiteness of my teeth.


By embracing greens in conjunction with sweet fruits, I have experienced a holistic transformation in my overall well-being, including improved dental health. This simple yet powerful dietary shift has not only revitalised my body but has also brought relief to a dental issue that had been causing me discomfort. As I continue to explore the benefits of this green-infused diet, I look forward to nurturing my body, inside and out, and savouring the delicious journey towards optimal health and vitality.
