About the Recipe
A versatile creamy but savoury "cheese" sauce.
1 cup of soaked cashews
2 cloves of garlic
1/4 cup of cilantro
1/2 tsp of black pepper
1/2 cup of smoked paprika
The juice of a small lemon
1/4 - 1/2 a cup of water
150g of peeled zucchini
Step 1 Put all the ingredients into a high powered blender and blend until smooth.
Step 2 Remove sauce from blender.
Step 3 Use sauce as part of another recipe or this sauce is also great served and enjoyed simply as a "cheese" dressing for salad or zoodles.
For this recipe you will need a high powered blender.
This recipe is ideally used for the "cheese" sauce for my lasagna recipe very soon to be added here on my ROAR page. It is very versatile though and can be enjoyed in a number of ways including simply as a rich and creamy salad dressing.
