"White" bread

About the Recipe

This recipe is a tasty raw vegan take on white bread that is great if are craving a sandwich, but is also delicious as a side with your salads and/or zoodle dishes.

Ingredients

Bread dough


700g of peeled and chopped carrot

1/2 a cup of pumpkin seeds then freshly ground

1/2 a cup of chia seeds then freshly ground

1 tbs of pysillium husk

10 dates

8 dried mulberries

Preparation

Step 1 Make the dough by putting the carrots into a high powered blender and blend until a pulp,


Step 2 Add all of the other ingredients to the blender and blend until well combined and of dough consistancy.


Step 3 Remove dough from the blender and shape into a rectangular loaf by using clean dry hands.


Step 4 Place loaf on to a dehydrator sheet and dehydrate at 110f for 25 hours.


Step 5 After 23 hours slice yout loaf as desired and return it to the dehydrator for the remaining 2 hours.


Step 6 Serve and enjoy.

Chef's Tips

  • For this recipe you will need a high powered blender.

  • For this recipe you will need a dehydrator.

  • This bread is lighter in colour and has more of a white bread taste compared to my Raw vegan loaf which has more of a whole grain taste, both are delicious and now you have both options depending on which takes your fancy.
