Apple and cinnamon donuts

About the Recipe

These raw vegan donuts are delicious treats

Ingredients

Donuts


1 cup of almonds freshly ground then covered with water and soaked for 24 hours

8 soaked dates

2 peeled and chopped apples

2 tbs of pyillium husk

2 tbs of chis seeds then freshly ground

4 tsp of cinnamon


Frosting


1 cup of soaked cashews

2 tbs of almonds then freshly ground

12 soaked dates

2 peeled apple

1 cup of water



Preparation

Step 1 Make dough by putting all of the ingredients into a high powered blender and blend until a wet soft dough consistancy,


Step 2 Transfer dough into 6 donut molds,


Step 3 Put all the donuts in the moulds into the dehydrator and dehydrate at 110f for 15 hours.


Step 4 After 5 hours dehydration remove the donuts carfully fully from the molds, tuen and return them to the dehydrator for the remaining 10 hours.


Step 5 Make the frosting by putting all of the ingredients into a high powered blender and blend until thick and smooth.


Step 6 Remove donuts from the dehydrator and smooth on the frosting making sure to cover the entire donut.


Step 7 transfer the donuts onto a serving platter and enjoy.
