About the Recipe

These raw vegan treats a simple, very delicious and perfect to share.

Ingredients

Tray "bakes"


1 cup of raw carob

1.5 cups of dates

1 cup of almonds the n freshly ground

1 cup of shredded dried raw coconut flesh

The seeds of one vanila pod or 1 tsp of vanilla essence

3 tbs of water



Preparation

Step 1 Put all of the ingredients into a food processor and blend until well combined but slightly textured.


Step 2 Press all of the mixture into a freezer worthy tin.


Step 3 Place the tin into a freezer for 30 mins


Step 4 Slice as desired.


Step 5 Transfer the sliced tray "bakes" on to a serving plate, serve and enjoy.



Chef's Tips

  • For this recipe you will need a 7.5 inch tin.
