Pumpkin and zucchini pizza base

About the Recipe

A versatile and tasty pizza base

Ingredients

Pizza base


600g of peeled and chopped pumpkin

200g of chopped zucchini

1/2 a cup of ground pumpkin seeds

3 dates

3 tsp of psyllium husk

1 small chopped red onion

1 crushed clove of garlic

Preparation

Step 1 Make the pizza base by putting all the ingredients into a high powered blender and blend until thick but smooth.


Step 2 Remove the mixture from the blender and smooth it evenly about 1.5cm thick into a dehydrator worthy container that is about 8 inches wide and at least 2cm tall.


Step 3 Dehydrate for 20 hours on 110f.


Step 4 After 6 hours carefully remove the base from the container and place on to a dehydrator sheet for the remaining dehydration time.


Step 5 Serve and enjoy.

  • This recipe is great served as my Veggie and "cheese" pizza recipe.

  • For this recipe you will need a high powered blender.
