About the Recipe
A very versatile flavour filled and textured raw vegan "meat" that can be enjoyed in numerous different creative recipes.
Ingredients
"Meat"
1/2 cup of soaked walnuts
1/2 cup of soaked pumpkin seeds
1 cup of ground carrot
2 chopped green bell peppers
2 cups of chopped red cabbage
1 stick of chopped celery
2 chopped red/yellow bell peppers
10 dehydrated tomatoes
2 medium fresh tomatoes
2 small dates
5 tbs of coconut aminos
3 cloves of garlic
1/4 cup of fresh cilantro
1/4 cup of fresh thyme
1/2 tsp of black pepper
1/2 tsp pf smoked paprika
Preparation
Step 1 Put all ingredients except the red cabbage, one of the red peppers, and one of the green peppers into a food processor.
Step 2 Blend until the mixture is a course texture that looks similar to minced meat.
Step 3 Add the chopped red cabbage and remaining red and green peppers to the mixture and pulse a few times until they are mixed in but can still be easily seen,
Step 4 (Optional) dehydrate for 3 hours on 110f.
Step 5 Serve and enjoy.
Chef's Tips
For this recipe you will need a high powered food processor.
This is a very versatile raw vegan meat that can be enjoyed straight after making, but can also be enjoyed dehydrated for 2-3 hours.
