Crave busting pizza base.

Ingredients

PIzza base


1 cup of almonds, ground (preferably with skins)

1 cup of pumpkin seeds, ground

200g peeled zucchini

1 red pepper

1 1/2 cups of water

Preparation

Step 1 Put all ingredients in a high powered blender and blend until smooth.


Step 2 Spread mixture evenly on a dehydrator sheet about 2/3cm thick - will make two pizzas.


Step 3 Dehydrate for 8 hours at 110f.


Step 4 Turn over and dehydrate for another 4 hours.

Chef's Tips

  • You will need a dehydrator for this dish. I use a Lecon dehydrator. You can alternatively try using your oven at it's lowest heat with the door ajar. You would have to watch the food closely as it dehydrated in the oven.

  • Grind the pumpkin seeds and almonds separately for a smoother mixture.


  • Make sure you measure the nuts and seeds before grinding.
