Crave busting meal, satisfying and full of nutrition
Ingredients
Sauce
4 medium fresh tomatoes
20 halved dehydrated tomatoes
12 small pitted dates
4 cloves of garlic
tsp dried basil
tsp dried cilantro
tsp dried rosemary
tsp dried thyme
Toppings
1 large red onion finely chopped
1 large grated carrot
14 cherry tomatoes chopped in half
Preparation
Step 1 Put all sauce ingredients in a blender and blend until almost smooth.
Step 2 Spread sauce evenly on to the pizza base.
Step 3 Sprinkle onion first, then carrot (as the cheese), and top with the cherry tomatoes.
Step 4 Dehydrate for 2 hours.
Step 5 Serve and enjoy.
Chef's Tips
You will need a dehydrator for this dish. i use a Lecon dehydrator. You can alternatively try using your oven at it's lowest heat with the door ajar. You would have to watch the food closely as it dehydrated in the oven.
We enjoy this with a large colourful salad.
