About the Recipe
These raw vegan croissants are absolutely delicious. They are a treat that I would be proud to share at any gathering.
Ingredients
Croissants
400g of peeled and chopped carrot
1/2 a cup of ground almonds
3 tsp of psyllium husk
6 dates
3/4 of a cup plus 2 tbs of water
Preparation
Step 1 Make the croissant mixture by putting all of the ingredients except the chocolate sauce, into a high powered blender and blend until the mixture resemples a wet smooth dough.
Step 2 Remove the croissant mixture from the blender and spread evenly about 3/4 cm thick onto a dehydrator sheet.
Step 3 Dehydrate for 4.5 hours.
Step 5 Remove from dehydtator and cut into 4 triangles.
Step 6 Spred chocolate sauce all over the upside of each of the triangles, simularly to how you might spred peanut butter onto bread.
Step 7 Roll each triangle into a croissant from it's shortest side towards the opposite point.
Step 8 Serve and enjoy.

For this recipe you will need a high powered blender.
