"Chocolate" fudge brownies

About the Recipe

These raw vegan brownies are a rich and totally delicious treat great to share at any occasion.


"Chocolate" fudge brownies

1 cup of carob

1 1/2 cup of dates

1/2 cup of raisins

1 cup of ground almonds

1 cup of cashews freshly but only partially ground to maintain some small peices for texture

The seeds of one vanilla pod

4 tbs of water


Step 1 Make brownie batter by putting all the ingredients into a high powered food processor and blend until combined into a loose dough consistancy.

Step 2 Remove dough from food processor and form into 10 -12 brownies using clean dry hands.

Step 3 Serve and enjoy.

Chef's Tips

  • For this recipe you will need a high powered food processor.

  • This recipe is great served simply and alone but I also love to serve these brownies with my "Chocolate" fudge sauce and fresh raspberries.

  • These brownies keep wonderfully in the fridge for up to a week, and in the freezer for weeks.
