"Cream cheese"

About the Recipe

This raw vegan "Cream cheese" is delicious and creamy and great as a spread or dip.

Ingredients

Cheese


1/2 a cup of pumpkin seeds

1/2 a cup of soaked cashews

The juice of one lemon

2 cloves of garlic

1/2 a tsp of cumin seeds

1/4 tsp of black pepper

1/4 tsp of smoked paprika

1 - 1.5 cups of water to blend

1finely chopped fresh chive

Preparation

Step 1 Put all of the ingredients except the chive into a high powered blender and blend until smoth and creamy.


Step 2 Remove mixture from blender and put into a small mixing bowl.


Step 3 Stir in the fresh chopped chive and garnish with it also if desired.


Step 4 Transfer the "Cheese" into a serving bowl.


Step 5 Serve and enjoy.

  • For this recipe you will need a high powered blender
