"Nuna" "Tuna" salad

About the Recipe

This raw vegan take on tuna salad is absolutely delicious.


"Nuna" salad

1/2 a cup of pumpkin seeds

1/4 cup of ground cashews

1/4 cup of ground almonds

1 tbs of sesame seeds

1 nori paper

The juice of one lemon

1 tbs of tamari

2 cloves of garlic

1 tsp of dried thyme

1/2 a tsp of dried sage

1/4 tsp of black pepper

1/2 tsp of smoked paprika

1/2 tsp of cayanne papper

1 - 1.5 cups of water to blend

1 tbs of fresh chopped coriander

1 chopped red onion

The kernels of one raw corn cob


Step 1 Put all of the ingredients except the fresh chopped coriander, the corn kernels and the chopped red onion, into a high powered food processor and blend until smooth but still slightly textured.

Step 2 Remove mixture from food processor and put into a mixing bowl.

Step 3 Stir in the corn kernels, red onion and coriander well with a spoon.

Step 4 Transfer the Nuna salad into a serving bowl.

Step 5 Serve and enjoy.

Chef's Tips

  • For this recipe you will need a high powered food processor.

  • This recipe is great made into a sandwich with my Raw vegan loaf.
