About the Recipe
This Asian inspired slaw is tasty and great with raw vegan burgers and salad.
Ingredients
Dressing
12 dates soaked in 1.5 cups of water
1 red onion
2 cloves of garlic
1 tsp of seseame seeds
1/2 tsp of cumin seeds
1 tsp of tumeric
The juice of one lemon
1.5 tsp of mustard powder
2.5 tsp of mild raw curry paste
Slaw
3 peeled and shredded carrots
1/2 a small finely shredded red cabbage
1/2 a small finely shredded white cabbage
Preparation
Step 1 Make the slaw dressing by putting all the ingredients into a high powered blender or bullet blender and blend until smooth.
Step 2 Put all the slaw vegetetables into a large mixing bowl and add the dressing.
Step 3 Using clean hands mix the dressing into the vegegtables well.
Step 4 Serve and enjoy.
Chef's Tips
For this recipe you will need a high powered blender or bullet blender.
