Fat Free Raw Vegan


If you follow my Story on Instagram you will know I am now eating a Fat Free Raw Vegan Diet. I have currently been eating fat free for about a month now. I definitely am feeling many health benefits by giving my body a rest from fats such as coconut & avocado.



You might be wondering why I have given my body a rest from the fats which helped me gain over 15kg and my health? The reason for this is fats are harder and slower for the body to digest and they take more energy from the body to process. All this extra energy is then diverted by the body to other energy processes like healing.


By eliminating fat from my diet I have needed to increase my intake of calories from fruits. Fruits are much easier for the body to digest and their high volume of water and glucose are a great benefit to the human body. The higher glucose is great as all our the cells of the human body run off of glucose. And since we are approx. 70% water it is a also a huge benefit to increase water intake. AS you can see there are many benefits to eating a high fruit diet and this is because as humans we are frugivores and fruit is our species specific diet.




I started eating a High Fruit Raw Vegan lifestyle when I had Chicken Pox recently. This meant the energy usually required by my body to digest fats could be now be diverted to healing. I also noticed my digestion improved greatly and there was less bloating and gas as well. Other benefits include improved muscle flexibility, more agility when I exercise, cellulite gone, I feel lighter and I am more productive at work.






If you look at my diet a couple of months back you will see it was heavier on fats and salads. My diet at the moment is full of fruits all day and then smoothies, nice cream, veggie sticks and dips, raw sushi with dipping sauces, juices, massive salads, dehydrated treats and soups as a dinner. An example of recipes I will eat in a day is as follows #rawveganrecipes :



Breakfast


Nice Cream

4 frozen bananas

500g frozen mixed berries




Snacks

Papaya

2 bananas







Lunch


Green Smoothie

5 bananas

500g pineapple

1/4 thumb ginger

1/4 thumb turmeric

1 tablespoon of aloe (approx)

1 cup of spinach

1 handful of coriander

3 medjool dates (pitted)




Snack

2 bananas

Handful of medjool dates ( pitted )


Dinner


Rainbow & Sweet potato salad


2 sweet potatoes (blended and served on top)

1 carrot

1 cucumber

1 tomato

1 corn (kernals only)

1 zucchini

1/2 cup baby spinach

1 stalk of celery

5 slices of fennel

1/4 purple cabbage

1 mango

1/4 Spanish Onion

Handful of dill

Handful of basil

Handful of coriander

1/2 thumb of ginger

1/2 thumb of turmeric

1-2 bullet chillies

1/2 lime




Dressing


4 tomatos

2 lemons

1-2 cloves of garlic

1/5 chilli (no seeds)

1- 2 medjool dates (pitted)













I am feeling better and chicken pox gone while enjoying eating this higher fruit diet I do believe fats are a very important part of maintaining the human body and will bring them back into my diet when my body lets me know. Always listen to what your body is asking of you as this is the key to Roaring in your life!!
